Man found dead following shooting in Fort McMurray

Police say man does not seem to be victim of random shooting

Police are investigating after a man's body was found outside a Fort McMurray apartment complex following a shooting early Saturday morning.

The man was found following a report of a gunshot in the area. The police found the man lying dead outside the building's front entrance on Clearwater Crescent.

Police say it does not appear to be a random shooting and will not say if they have any suspects in the case. An autopsy is scheduled for May 18.
