Okunniyi is the spokesman of Pro-National Conference Organization (PRONACO) and doubles as the former aspirant of the Gubernatorial election in Ogun State.
Reliable sources close to the estranged love birds, squealed that Okunniyi was the one who lured the ageless actress to join the Olusegun Osoba led Social Democratic Party prior to the 2015 general elections.
However, during the party’s primary elections the actress lost to Joseph Sopade, a former aide of Governor Ibikunle Amosun, who resigned to join the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
Bukky Wright and Mr. Sopade vied for SDP ticket for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency of Ogun State, which Sopade later lost to APC’s Hon. Samuel Olusegun Williams.
More snooping around revealed that their relationship met with brick walls when Bukky Wright dumped Okunniyi and allegedly opted for the party leader, the Akinrogun of Egbaland, Chief Olusegun Osoba.
According to Society Gist, when the news of the romance started becoming a major topic in the political and social scene, Okunniyi’s wife confronted her husband for explanation but the Ijebu born politician had no tangible excuse to cover up for his extra-marital affair.
The talented actress also denied ruffling the sheets with Chief Osoba. She allegedly acted defensive by throwing tantrums at the failed politician, describing him as a ‘Facebook Politician’ who only hold rally and other political activities on the social media.
However, Mr. Okunniyi was contacted over the allegations, and he told the reporter from SocietyGist that someone will call him soon.
After waiting endlessly for the call, the story was made public. SMS was then sent to the reporter’s mobile phone stating that he is out of town and wishes to meet our reporter in Lagos.
